About the role

We’re looking for a skilled Azure Integration Engineer to join our IT team and help deliver scalable, secure, and well-architected integration solutions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design and implement modern cloud-based integrations using Azure Integration Services within a Microsoft Landing Zone-aligned environment.

You’ll work across a portfolio of projects involving system connectivity, data flow, and platform modernisation—collaborating with business analysts, solution architects, and external vendors. If you thrive on designing clean, maintainable integration layers and want to contribute to something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and test integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions (Durable Functions), API Management, Event Hub, and Service Bus.
  • Implement integrations that align with our Microsoft Azure Landing Zone—ensuring scalability, governance, and security across our cloud architecture.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into integration designs and workflows.
  • Work closely with vendors and other teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions that support our clinical and business systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues across cloud integration components and contribute to performance tuning and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, patterns, and reusable assets.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Hub, and Service Bus.
  • Proficient in C#, .NET, and RESTful APIs with practical knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2.0), JSON, and sFTP.
  • Strong grasp of Enterprise Integration Patterns and  event-driven architecture.
  • Competence with the Azure Data Platform—including Azure SQL, T-SQL, and data movement principles.
  • Strong communication skills—able to engage both technical and business stakeholders with clarity.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within or alongside Azure Landing Zone frameworks, with an understanding of security, policy, and automation standards.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience in aged care, healthcare, or other regulated industries is beneficial but not essential.
