About the role

Assisting in creating a company our residents love, you’ll be the face of the People and Culture team for our employees across our Queensland homes spanning across the Sunshine Coast and also Hervey Bay.  No two days will be the same in this diverse role.  One day your focus could be on coaching and supporting our front-line leaders on engaging teams and building culture and the next you could be advising on complex and often sensitive people matters.

 

The core foundational HR expertise and skills you will bring to this role

  • Your well-rounded talent management experience focused on driving culture and retention
  • A pragmatic and human centred approach to navigating complex and sensitive IR and ER matters within best practice framework
  • Demonstrated application of partnering skills in a P&C/HR Business Partner role
  • Coaching and development to build leadership capability
  • Your creative flair for facilitation of workshops, training and education to home-based employees at all levels
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance proactive initiatives with reactive priorities
  • Your ability to drive transformational change. This role will see you collaborating on People & Culture initiatives and projects to sustainably embed them into operations.

  • Experience delivering change initiatives into the business and supporting leaders implement change
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
  • Ability to travel as operationally required and for team development.
